This was Alexander Wang's third show for Balenciaga, to be honest I'm still very undecided, there a pieces i absolutely love, don't get me wrong.. but there are some pieces I wasn't to sure about.. All in all this show was worth a blog post so I am must have liked it! When you hear more about his story of the collection it all seems to fall together more and you understand where he is coming from. he explained, "I go back to pieces that feel familiar—it's a sweater, it's a wrap dress, it's a raincoat—and ask myself, 'How do I make it feel special?' He sure changes it up from the average sweater, he makes it high fashion and look like luxury.. Alexander always has an incredible eye for detail, the structure in each piece, the tailoring in the pants, the leather detailing, the fur, the bags, the belts, the shoes.. is all on point. I do have to say he is doing a brilliant job so he must be commended on that! and as style.com say he is definitely having fun and taking risks, at the end of the day its all about experimenting!
